- the weekend came and went,
i want it back again!
janice arrived here in a'dam on tues, we went to brussels for 2 nights and she left sunday morning-
it was one hell of a whirlwind trip,
but oh so fun!
belgium was interesting, some of the buildings are so beautiful and grand while the others are so ugly and modern.
the streets are wider than in amsterdam so it kind of loses it european appeal but it was still pretty.
the waffles, the mussels and fries, the BEER!!! omg, i love the beer.
cheap and tasty, we had cherry and apple and raspberry beer...so yummy.
we met up with sirika in brussels and it was nice catching up again! can't believe she won't be back in toronto when i go back next year.. :(
brought her to the places i hang out here in a'dam-
the borrel on tuesday, a dutch graduation party, a club with a table tennis table and cool graffiti, her riding a bike around town and her sitting on the back of my bike while i cycled.
we endured the worst night ever- dropped my keys at the club where isa had her graduation party. rode all the way home in the pouring rain only to find that out, i started freaking out and thankfully someone found the keys in the club. had to ride there and then back home. it was terrible, we were drenched and soaked and it was cold and i was going crazy. but these make for good memories i guess!
